Kaizen Launches Partners for Financial Stability Web Portal
The Kaizen Company (Kaizen) is proud to announce the launch of the “Partners for Financial Stability” (PFS) web portal as one part of rolling out Kaizen’s Professional Communities program. Local financial sector professionals from each of 12 PFS countries (Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, and Ukraine) are able to access resources on the web portal and interact with one another to share lessons learned and transfer knowledge and skills via the portal’s social networking functionality. Kaizen is a subcontractor to Deloitte Consulting, LLP, the lead implementation partner on this USAID-funded initiative.
Financial sector professionals have access to upcoming events, research papers, international standards, PFS country reports, financial sector laws and regulations, articles, presentations, blogs, case studies, and other topic-specific information of value to community members in each of the 12 PFS countries. The web portal is continuously being stocked with similar resources from premier content providers in public finance, as well as relevant PFS project materials. The portal virtually brings together financial sector professionals from the 12 PFS countries, allowing them to rate resources, follow the posts of experts on topics in which they are interested, take part in virtual events, upload content, vote in online polls, and continue in-person discussions in online groups.
The web portal aids PFS’s mission of bridging the gap between existing sources of finance and promising small and medium enterprises. Its member profile includes financial sector professionals active in one or more of the following key areas: Banking Systems, Capital Markets & Corporate Governance, Insurance Sector & Solvency, Pension Funds & Financial Safety Nets, Financial System Inclusion, Accounting & Auditing International Standards, and Legal & Information Foundation. PFS members include stakeholders working on regulatory and enabling environment issues within the public sector as well as those in the private sector from banks, non-bank financial institutions and insurance companies. The PFS portal provides these members an opportunity to come together in a virtual setting and share knowledge and best practices with one another in a peer-to-peer learning environment.
,p>In the near future, Kaizen will hold a series of virtual knowledge-sharing workshops and executive roundtables. These workshops and roundtables will focus on topics of shared interest and importance to local financial sector professionals.
