The Kaizen Company is working in cooperation with the US Agency for International Development Global Development Lab (the Lab), to support ongoing USAID initiatives launched as part of the U.S. response to combat the West African Ebola crisis. To support the Lab, Kaizen provides highly specialized technical personnel in areas of mobile money, real-time data, ICT4D, health information systems, strategic response, and health systems strengthening. ​To date, Kaizen has recruited and placed 12 full-time specialists at the Global Development Lab and Mission locations, including Washington, D.C., Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. These staff members are directly supporting the Lab’s efforts to strengthen West African communications and health information systems (HIS) to improve regional prevention, detection, and response to future public health and other threats.
