PROJECTS

Iraq Administrative Reform Project

The Kaizen Company, in partnership with Management Systems International, supported administrative reform within the government of Iraq to enhance service delivery to citizens. Kaizen worked with more than a dozen central government ministries and their provincial directorates to develop organizational development systems and structures to ensure the sustainability of the governance improvement. Kaizen’s approach is based on the Organizational Self-Assessment and Transformation Program (OSTP) framework, previously used on the Tatweer project in Iraq from 2006 to 2011, and subsequently adapted to better address the contextual needs of Iraqi public organizations. The overarching goal of Kaizen’s involvement was to foster the development of a sustainable and participative momentum for more effective and transparent government administrations, focused on better serving the citizens of Iraq.
