The Kaizen Company, in partnership with the Haitian relief organization, J/P HRO (jphro.org), managed a Professional Community (PC) dedicated to supporting administrators and principals of schools in the Delmas 32 neighborhood of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The PC brought together administrators and principals who faced similar challenges and opportunities, and supported them in identifying and addressing shared priorities, accessing knowledge and expertise to accelerate solutions, and learning from each other. The community was characterized by an inclusive, peer-to-peer approach with a prioritized agenda of reform topics that was driven by the administrators and principals themselves. The Kaizen Company conducted and facilitated a regular series of roundtables and other events that addressed these priority topics.
