Rule of Law Program

As a sub-contractor to Tetra-Tech DPK (Tt DPK) on the USAID-funded Rule of Law Program (ROLP), Kaizen is contributing to a five-year project to support Jordanian efforts to enhance government accountability to citizens, strengthen the rule of law to better protect human and legal rights, and increase the effectiveness of civil society and private sector organizations in Jordan. The program supports these organizations to advocate for their interests, provide services to their members, and participate in governing processes.

Kaizen is the key resource for Human and Institutional Capacity Development (HICD) expertise on this project. In their role, Kaizen provides qualified local and international organizational capacity building assistance through assessments, strategic plans, and capacity building plans with reform recommendations for judicial institutions and other organizations supported by the project.

To help achieve its objective, the project built a strategic partnership with a local non-profit organization, Rasheed Coalition. To support this partnership, Kaizen worked with Rasheed Coalition to build upon their capacity in key areas of sustainability/fundraising, communication, monitoring & evaluation, and reporting through the development of a five year strategic plan. Rasheed is a non-biased autonomous entity that consolidates the efforts of civil society organizations, academia, legal and media specialists in order to enhance the concepts and practices of integrity, transparency, accountability, and enforcement of good governance principles.
