Millenium Challenge Account Qualification
The recently launched United States Government Millennium Challenge Corporation channels increased U.S. development assistance funding to countries that govern justly, invest in their people, and encourage economic freedom. The MCC’s funding mechanism is the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA).
KC supports countries in preparing and submitting MCA qualification documents, and provides tailored services to support countries pursuing MCA funding.
Countries seeking to meet MCA qualification standards are encouraged to utilize KC’s Sector Transformation Program (STP) for government agencies. STP is extremely effective in spurring the systemic reforms necessary to meet MCA standards. Countries may also wish to create an Excellence Award for government performance. Together, these services are especially effective in propelling a government towards MCA qualification.
