Anand Rudra joins the Partnerships Incubator team as an International Development Professional with more than 30 years of experience in donor-funded programs in the development sectors.
He is an experienced programmatic, grants, and operational manager and has successfully coordinated large, complex U.S. Government Federal – Host Country, private sector, and nongovernmental organization partnerships.
As an Acceleration Director, Anand brings cross-cutting institutional experience and skill sets in the management and successful administration of local, national, and regional partnerships in the areas of health, disaster resilience, and water and sanitation. His professional work has allowed him to work closely with national and sub-national governments, corporate social private sector partners, industry groups, local and international donors, civil society organizations, and development sector professionals.
Prior to joining the Partnerships Incubator, Anand worked as a program management professional at USAID in India. He was responsible for delivering management and technical oversight support for USAID missions’ bilateral and unilateral partnerships. His work has also allowed him to work with regional missions in South Asia. He has made significant contributions to the incubation of urban health and WASH in the mission partnerships portfolio. He has rich experience in leading multiple senior leadership visits, including the POTUS, CODEL, USAID Administrator, and Host Country Senior Officials for showcasing the Agency partnership programs.
Anand holds a Bachelor of Science from Delhi University and a Business Administration in Management from the International Management Institute (IMI). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and pets. He speaks English, Hindi, and Bengali.
