Daniel O’Connor is the Acceleration Liaison for the Partnerships Incubator, building the capacity of new and underutilized partners to work with USAID and facilitating the design and application of tools to improve organizational effectiveness.
An international affairs specialist, Dan has more than 7 years of experience in international program management, and is a passionate advocate for the role of the private sector in building equitable and inclusive societies. Before joining the Incubator, Dan worked as the Asia-Pacific Associate for the Barack Obama Foundation, jumpstarting its inaugural leadership development program across more than 35 nations and territories of the Asia-Pacific. He also spent 4 years in Southeast Asia working as a program manager for an international travel company, in addition to providing research on international development and philanthropic best practices in the region.
Dan enjoys playing soccer, chess, traveling, and cooking. He has visited more than 40 countries and plans on expanding his travel list.
Dan is a graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy where he majored in International Law and Asia-Pacific Affairs.
