Nehad Qaisieh is the Public Sector Procurement Systems Expert for the USAID-funded Jordan Enhancing School Management and Planning (ESMP) Project.
Nehad is a result driven and competent procurement and project management professional with over 15 years of experience in the Middle East. Her experience includes procurement systems, sourcing and contract management, project management, and quality assurance in the public and private sectors. In her most recent projects, Nehad led a procurement transformation program for a client through Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and system implementation, which resulted in reduced procurement cycle time, improved savings, and increased the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process.
Nehad has an extensive real-world procurement and supply chain management experience. She has been responsible for all components of the supply chain—including leading sourcing, collecting requirements, strategy development and implementation, supplier evaluation and selection, negotiation, and contract execution. Nehad has a successful record of implementing supplier and contract management that includes providing on-going contract cost management and risk assessment.
Nehad is a certified project manager (PMP®), and attained an advanced Diploma in Supply and Chain from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS®). She is a seasoned project management, procurement management, and quality management trainer who has designed and delivered over 50 training courses.
