Kaizen’s Values
Our core values are excellence, innovation, integrity, and contribution:
| Excellence: | Premium-quality solution providers backed by efficient, transparent, and forward-thinking operations; guided by the very principles we espouse; and providing a highly fulfilling work environment for high-caliber employees. |
| Innovation: | Intent on creating development approaches that are sustained through market forces; forward-thinking in our application of information and communication technologies; willing to take risks to find solutions that work. |
| Integrity: | Unquestionably ethical; true to our vision and mission; steadfast in our support of individuals and organizations working to improve their circumstances. |
| Contribution: | Creating opportunities for our partners and clients to build and exchange knowledge and momentum with their peers in the pursuit of individual and organizational excellence. |
Kaizen’s Philosophy
At Kaizen, we advocate the transformation of development assistance from top-down, expatriate-driven and time-bound advice to that which catalyzes locally-driven, bottom-up and fully sustainable reforms. We also believe that organizations should commit to the success of initiatives beyond the completion of donor-funded projects, and that market forces and advances in technology make this both possible and cost-effective.
Kaizen’s Development Assistance Solutions
While Kaizen’s ultimate goal is to forge purely private sector relationships that advance international development objectives without requiring donor funding, at present, we do implement traditional international economic development assistance projects. Our primary clients are the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and its implementing partners. Our solutions empower individuals and institutions to improve their performance, and enable donors to reduce and eventually eliminate funding in targeted areas.
