CAREERS

Innovative, empowering work requires talented people to make it happen, and we are always looking for more to join our team.

ASSOCIATE PROGRAM

Kaizen is seeking motivated undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in the field of international development to join our team. Applicants should be current students who can commit part or full-time to a semester-long internship. We recruit prior to each term, so explore our employment page to see if applications are open.

What makes the Associate Program unique?

Associates participate in a robust Orientation Program and trainings are provided throughout the internship in topics such as budgeting, proposal writing, and project management.

Associates are integrated into project and proposal teams throughout the semester and are given significant responsibility.

Associates are encouraged to select projects and opportunities based on their regional and sectoral interests.

A flat organizational structure allows for associates to work closely with colleagues at all levels of the company. They are paired with a junior level and senior level employee for guidance and growth.

TESTIMONIALS

Jeff Suppes

Former Kaizen Associate

"I was able to take principles I learned in class and apply them to my work on different projects at Kaizen, but I was also able to learn industry skills that added more depth to my classes and helped qualify me to find a full-time job after graduation."

Annabella Korbatov

Former Kaizen Associate

"Kaizen is truly unique from other development consulting firms in the way that it offers graduate associates the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, tailor their work to their academic and professional interests, and collaborate with everyone on the team."

Kyle Kessler

Former Kaizen Associate

"Kaizen's culture epitomizes a collaborative, flat office structure. The company allows you to attempt things that may be outside of your comfort zone and the freedom to fail."

Lucy Obus

Former Kaizen Associate

"Who knew a small ship could do such big work and still be so cool? People get amazing things done here, but they also have a pretty great time doing it."

Hina Samnani

Former Kaizen Associate

"Kaizen has worked all over the world on different issues, and so far this summer, I've already worked on projects related to law and governance, environmental sustainability, and financial management. It's a great place to 'dip your feet' and see the different opportunities international development has to offer."
