As a subcontractor to Chemonics International on Egypt’s Competitiveness Program (ECP), The Kaizen Company supported the Government of Egypt (GOE) in improving entrepreneurship and business skills within the Egyptian private sector. Specifically, Kaizen provided technical support to ECP in integrating ECP entrepreneurship communication and outreach activities with both general and entrepreneurship-specific media in Egypt. Kaizen worked with print and digital magazines, social media outlets and entrepreneurship awareness seminars and events to identify constraints to entrepreneurship in Egypt. In response, Kaizen recommended different ways to report on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship success stories. Kaizen also developed a gender communication and media strategy to help understand, strategize and promote women entrepreneurs in Egypt. Further, Kaizen created a strategy for developing mentoring programs in Egypt.
