The Kaizen Company currently serves as the prime implementer of the four-year USAID/Jordan Enhancing School Management and Planning (ESMP) Project. The Project objective is to improve the school management and planning processes and the quality of school environments in Jordan. ESMP enhances the planning, oversight, operation, and maintenance capabilities of the Ministries of Education (MOE) and Public Works and Housing (MPWH). Kaizen provides assessment expertise, technical assistance, capacity building, collaboration facilitation, and training to the MOE, MPWH, targeted stakeholders, and counterparts engaged in school management to improve performance and sustain these improvements. Secondary target stakeholders include private sector organizations implementing school infrastructure contracts, construction and engineering associations, and community stakeholders, including parents. ESMP supports the priority of the Government of Jordan to improve existing management systems and procedures for the planning, implementation, and utilization of public schools in Jordan – ultimately improving the education environment and enhancing access to education for students in Jordan.
