Camille Gockowski is the Chief of Party (COP) for the USAID/Jordan Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Activity (MELA).

As the COP on MELA, Camille provides strategic leadership and technical direction, while fostering collaborative partnerships with USAID, the Government of Jordan, Implementing Partners, and Jordanian stakeholders in the MEL/CLA sector.

Camille brings over 10 years of experience working in the MEL and CLA sector, having managed teams in complex environments. She fosters a strong “fail fast” approach with her teams, and continually provides coaching and mentoring to engender greater innovation, data-utilization, learning, and adaptive management approaches that improve development outcomes. Her extensive experience in USAID rules and regulations ensures holistic approaches to technical and operational workstreams and optimizes high-quality, timely, and compliant implementation of interventions. Camille is a strong advocate of localization approaches and participatory engagement with stakeholders.

Camille holds a Master’s degree in International Development from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She is fluent in English and French and has lived and worked in West Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
