Farah Makki is the Construction Management Officer for the USAID-funded Jordan Enhancing School Management and Planning (ESMP) Project.
With a decade of experience, Farah has worked on various construction projects in the Educational, Health, and Commercial sectors.
Before joining Kaizen, Farah served as a Technical Advisor at GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) in Supporting the process of institutionalizing the development of green infrastructure on the political level within the field of urban planning. Her work focused on establishing sustainable systems within Jordan’s Ministries of Environment (MoEnv) and Greater Amman Municipality (GAM).
Throughout her career, Farah has worked in both design and supervision for educational faculties in universities and healthcare projects. She has also served as a contractor, managing the construction process from start to finish. Notably, Farah was involved in the renovation and construction of public schools in Irbid Governate, which were funded by USAID through two programs: Jordan School Expansion Project (JSEP) and the Learning Environment Improved Infrastructure program (LEIIP).
Farah holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Associate CIArb).
