Dr. Olupot boasts 25+ years in international development, specializing in project management, monitoring and evaluation (MEL), and Collaboration, Learning and Adapting (CLA) mechanisms.
His diverse expertise spans multiple sectors, including health, education, agriculture, democracy, governance, economic growth, and infrastructure.
Currently serving as Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) on the USAID/Ethiopia Learning Analytics Activity, he plays a vital role in the CLA/MEL Platform. His leadership experience includes roles as Chief of Party (COP) for USAID/Ethiopia’s Transform: MELA Activity, COP for USAID/South Sudan Monitoring and Evaluation Support Project (MESP), and COP for the USAID/Rwanda CLA Activity.
Dr. Olupot’s career also encompasses significant roles, such as Regional Head for Results Measurement at the World Bank Group in Cairo, service with UN-Habitat in Kenya, and UNDP in Sudan. He held leadership positions at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Botswana and African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) in Eastern and Southern Africa.
