Habib brings over fifteen years of public and private sector experience in South Asia, the Middle East, and North America.
As Senior Technical Manager/Technical Director of Kaizen in Pakistan he leads operations, programs, and business development affairs in Pakistan.
Prior to joining Kaizen, Habib started his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he worked in assurance, business consulting, corporate tax, and risk management services. He was engaged in large scale corporate restructuring and public sector reforms. Habib also served as Sr. Financial Advisor with USAID where he supported several public sector capacity development activities as team lead. He also supported project design activities in the Economic Growth and Education sectors. At the Duke Center for International Development (DCID), he contributed to research papers related to public finance, international taxation, and youth workforce development.
Habib is a Fellow Chartered Accountant in Pakistan and Chartered Public Finance Accountant in the UK. He completed his mid-career master’s in international development policy from the Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy as a World Bank scholar. Habib also graduated from executive education programs at Georgia State University and Harvard University. He has been recognized with several honors from USAID including the Honor Award, Eagle Award, and Meritorious Honor Award.
