Lisa Masannat is the Acceleration Manager for the USAID/Jordan Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Activity (MELA).
She leads the management of local organizations through Kaizen’s Rapid Vendor Procurement Mechanism (RPM), oversees all acceleration services, and ensures Jordanian organizations are accountable and competitive throughout the procurement and capacity-building process while meeting baseline capacity requirements. Lisa is also responsible for maintaining, evaluating, and refreshing the pool of Jordanian organizations across various technical areas. She provides quality assurance of services provided by these organizations, manages and facilitates the acceleration process, and ensures the projects are implemented most cost-effectively. Lisa has managed the MEL Community of Practice since its inception for three years by conducting needs assessments, providing implementation support, and performance monitoring.
Before joining USAID MELA, Lisa was Deloitte’s Grants/Contracts Advisor for the USAID Fiscal Reform and Public Financial Management Activity (FRPFM). Lisa holds a degree in Chemistry from Oakland University and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University.
