Melissa Chedid has over 10 years of experience in program design and management, human and institutional capacity strengthening, and organizational development.
At Kaizen, Melissa provides organizational development and localization technical support to a portfolio of USAID-funded projects as well as contributions to business development. Before joining the Kaizen Company, Melissa held positions in international and national non-governmental organizations across the Middle East and North Africa where she supported the design and implementation of humanitarian and development programs funded by the European Union, the United Nations, and USAID.
She has sectoral experience in the areas of conflict prevention and stabilization, mental health and psychosocial support, and disaster response and recovery. Melissa holds a M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University, with a concentration in International Social Work and Policy Practice, and a B.S. in Social Work from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
