Mohamad Al Dweket is the GIS Specialist for the USAID/Jordan Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Activity (MELA).
In this role, he leads all geographical information system design, collection, analyzation and management. He also oversees the development and management of tools used for data collection and maintenance of the library of geospatial data for USAID activities.
Prior to joining MELA, Mohamad served as the GIS Specialist for USAID/Jordan’s Monitoring and Evaluation Support Project (MESP) where he developed geospatial data collection tools, led field data collection, and created cartographic products. Previously, as a Sewer Engineer, Mr. Al-Dwekat designed geospatial networks and fiber networks using ArcGIS and AutoCAD. Mohamad has strong proficiency in several geospatial software programs including in ArcGIS, CIVIL3D, 2D AutoCAD drawing, and C++.
Mohamad holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering/Surveying and Geomatics Engineering from Al-Balqa Applied University.
