Nina Kobakhidze is a Center of Excellence Manager at the Kaizen Company, where she works on USAID-funded human and institutional capacity building (HICD) Activity in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Nina is a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and international development specialist with 15 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility and brings a unique blend of MEL expertise, and academic background, coupled with extensive capacity-building experience.
Prior to joining Kaizen, Nina supported USAID/Georgia HICD 2020 and HICD PLUS Projects, leveraging her experience with the HICD model, providing MEL support, teaching CLA to local service providers under the MEL training curriculum, and using training resources to maximize the long term impact of the HICD programs. She also teaches an M&E course to graduate students at the University of Georgia.
She holds two master’s degrees– one in social work with a focus on social policy analysis from Washington University in St. Louis and another in political science from Central European University and is working on a PhD in Social Sciences. She is designated as a Certified ROI Professional by ROI Institute. She is fluent in Georgian, English, and Russian.
