Ousmane Barry is an international development professional with extensive operations management experience on large USAID-funded projects.
He is currently serving as Chief of Party on the Djibouti Supporting Civil Society Engagement in the Local Development Process (CEAA) project. He also served as Chief of Party for USAID/OTI’s Niger Stability Support Initiative. He has demonstrated his ability to work closely with USAID to ensure that activities are well-designed, effectively implemented, and adhere to USAID regulations, as well as to efficiently achieve program objectives in political and security challenges. His career progression has included roles such as Regional Procurement Manager, Operations Manager, and Regional Operations Director for a regional peacebuilding project in West Africa.
Mr. Barry holds a Professional Master’s in Transportation and Logistics from the French Technical University in Logistics. He is fluent in English and a native French speaker.
