Ms. Suzan Karam is the Capacity Building Specialist for the USAID-Funded Jordan Enhancing School Management Planning (ESMP) Project.
She has more than 14 years’ experience in the development sector in Jordan. Through her work with UNRWA and more than four USAID-funded projects, she has served as senior advisor for organizational development, governance, and community engagement. Her technical skills are additionally complimented by her managerial skills. This includes working at the highest level in engaging the Ministry of Health, High Health Council, Ministry of Planning, Prime Minister’s Office, and other governmental leaders. She has worked closely with USAID, WHO, and other international donors. She has been responsible for strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of Health’s directorates, NGOs and CSOs to integrate community engagement, governance, and health promotion activities, as well as monitoring indicators.
Ms. Karam holds master’s degree in Health Administration from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Human Resources Management Certificate from Cambridge International Diploma, and advanced TOT from Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College.
